A trip to Switzerland is many at times "A dream come true". Officially known as the Swiss Confederation, this place is a must visit for all. The geographical location of Switzerland is such that, it is sandwiched by Germany, France, Italy and Austria in the north, west south and east respectively. Zurich and Geneva are to cities all of us would be familiar about. The Swiss population accounts approximately to 8 million.

One of the richest countries on the globe, cities in Switzerland speak of high quality life and productivity. The country mainly comprises of 3 linguistic regions Italian, German and French.

With about 1000 museums distributed around the country, it also is home to many unique contributions in the field of sciences, art and music. Cultural festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Locarno International Film festivals are some famous events held here annually.

Snowboarding, mountaineering and skiing are some popular sports in this part of the world. Swiss Tennis has always been a hit. Players like Martina Hingis and Roger Federer have won multiple grand slams and have become idols for the generation to come.

Oh !! where am I with my career ? Have I taken up the right job ?Oh I wish I had taken up an attractive and happening career like acting. These stars have the time of their life. All the celeb lime light, the red carpet, parties and fame !! Wait a moment all this is only if you make it big. what happens if I don't get the right break ? I might remain a struggling actor throughout my life. Gosh is it worth putting your career through so much speculation and risk? HMMmmm...Probably I am on the right path. Doctor is probably the right tag I am born to carry. What if I had taken Basket ball seriously during my college days, man the stardom, fame and money !!God I could make money at will. But money is not every thing in life. What about the satisfaction I get being a Doctor? But I have to wait so long to make big money !! Hmm this is interesting!! So money obviously is a factor. I wish I thought this through. I hate this life. Its always so complicated. "Rachel !! Rachel !! What are you doing its 8:00 in the morning aren't you going to work. Come on honey have your breakfast, I have prepared your favorite Ham burger with extra mayo today!!"
Rachel- "Yes mom I will be off in sometime ....I don't think I can have breakfast today. I am already late for work."
MOM- "Don't worry dear Ill drop you off at office today."

Well Well I have been brooding over this for hours. Come on this is not as complicated as it seems. Lets see the positives. I am educated, I have a loving family, I do have a job and to top it all I am a successful Doctor. I could also make it big in my field. Well Life is good!! OH ! never thought of the situation this way around. Come on there are negatives to all careers. Who cares !! I love my career. This feels way better..................

Indian in New York !!

An Indian business man makes his way into a bank in New York and asks for the loan section. He is in turn guided to the loan section to meet the concerned officer. On enquiry the Indian tells him that he is about to open a restaurant in Europe and needed to borrow $10,000 from the bank. The officer explains the complete procedure involved and the fact that the bank would need some kind of security for the loan. The business man agrees to hand over his Porsche in return for the loan. The officer immediately processes the necessary documents and asks one of his employees to park the car in the bank's garage. Three weeks later the business man returns to the bank with the sum of $10000 and the interest of about $20. He is greeted with a smile by the officer in the bank who asks curiously " We did analyze your financial back ground to find out you are a billionaire. Why did you care to borrow a sum of $10000? The business man promptly takes his car keys from the officer and replies " Where else can in New York can I park this car for $20 !!

It was a long haul flight and a passenger makes his way to his seat. He is shocked to find a parrot sitting in the seat next to his, all cozy and strapped up. The passenger summons the air hostess and requests her for a cup of coffee. Having seen this the parrot tells the same hostess " Hey!! Bring me a glass of wine you freak! The hostess is clearly taken aback but says nothing to the parrot and returns with glass of wine. On her way back the passenger reminds the hostess about his cup of coffee. To their surprise the parrot literally barks at the hostess this time, for a refill. The hostess is annoyed now, but manages to serve another glass of wine to the parrot. By this time the passenger is near desperate to have his cup of coffee, decides to adopt the parrots approach towards the hostess. He summons the hostess and tells her " Hey!!! Get me a glass of coffee you scum !! In no time the both the passenger and the parrot are kicked out of the plane, mid air by two hefty stewards. On the way down the parrot tells the passenger " For a person who can't fly you speak out way too much ".

CAT 2011 - Common Admission Test 2011

The CAT ( Common Admission Test ) is an examination conducted in India by the renowned IIM's ( Indian Institute of Management).The test is a mainly based on multiple choice questions with negative marking for wrong answers. Very critical areas of arithmatic problem solving, geometry, statistics, and English language skills are tested out in this version of the test. Generally held in the month of November, this test is held once every year.

The CAT is the first step for admission to the IIMs. After the test, by the second week of January next year, the IIMs declare exam scores and put up a list of candidates who are eligible for the next stage of a Group Discussion and Personal Interview for IIMs. A candidate hoping to pursue a career in one of those elite colleges have to clear all the stages.

Travel ? - Too much Increases possibilities of health risks

Recent studies show that people who travel frequently on business trips are prone to increased health risks. Conditions such as high blood pressure, obesity are common findings in such people.

Findings reveal that these people find very less time to dedicate to health. Untimely food, Lack of exercise could be a few factors that lead to situations that lead to health risks.
Untimely food is one major factor that effect people always on the move. Food is often over looked during situations involving hectic work pressure or while on travel. Many people try and overeat on occasions to make up for the skipped portion of meal. This leads to serious repercussions in terms of body weight and sugar levels in the blood. Few tips while on travel could help avoid health risks:

• One must always eat light while on travel. As preferred diet is a rare choice, one must make sure to keep the stomach light.
